About Dr.Edward Bach:-
Dr.Edward Bach (1886-1936) was a British physician and well-known pathologist, immunologist and bacteriologist. His discoveries in these medicine areas were pioneering, and his innovative bacterial vaccines have found a permanent place in homeopathic medicine under the name “Bach nosodes.” Despite his medical successes, he felt unsatisfied. For him, illness was not just a dysfunction of the human-machine but an effect of disharmony between body and mind. The symptoms of an illness were the external expression, the body manifestation, of negative emotional states.
His postulate was, “Treat the person, not the illness.” He assumed that the causes of disease were negative emotional states such as sorrow, fear, dissatisfaction, impatience, sadness, etc.
The connection between emotions and body:-
According to Edward Bach, illness is solely and purely corrective; it is neither vindictive nor cruel but is the means adopted by our own souls to point us our faults, to prevent us from making greater errors, to hinder us from doing more harm, and to bring us back to that path of truth and light from which we should never have strayed.
At a different place, he writes: “If you suffer from stiffness in your joints, you can be equally certain that there is stiffness in your mind; that you are rigidly holding on to some idea, some principle, some convention may be, which you should not have. If you have asthma or difficulty breathing, you are in some way stifling another personality; or from lack of courage to do right, smothering yourself.

The heart: Deficiency or excess or wrongdoing in the act of love
The eye: Failure to see aright and comprehend the truth when placed before you
The Bach Flower Remedies:-
